On January 14th, over 1,200 people gathered to demand justice and respect for the immigrant community and to highlight local, state and federal policy solutions to resist against attacks on immigrants, refugees, muslims and all vulnerable communities. The Illinois Coalition for Immigrants and Refugee Rights members and allies that gathered pledged to organize and mobilize to ensure that our demands are met.

The Cook County Direct Access program will provide primary and preventative services including some specialty care within the Cook County Health Hospitals System (CCHHS). This includes annual exams, dental services among other services. Patients will receive a card and be assigned to a clinic closest to their home.
