ICIRR is excited to announce that we are recruiting fellows for our 2022 Democracy Project! We are also hiring a Democracy Project Manager to support this year's fellows.



The Democracy Project a 15-week paid fellowship program for people who are interested in working hard while exploring a career in social justice and electoral/political work.


ICIRR knows what it takes to get out the vote based on 16 years of experience across 9 general election cycles. We meet our communities where they are, emphasize the importance of being civically engaged, and we share what's at stake for immigrant communities to mobilize new and infrequent voters to the polls.

Fellows will work directly with one of our fifteen community partner organizations based in Chicago and the suburbs. Fellows receive a stipend of $1,000 per week and quality training throughout the program. By becoming a fellow, you're playing a critical and essential role in the engagement of new citizens, immigrants and young people in the democratic process!
