DACA
Updated 10-11-24
UPDATE, on October 10, 2024, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments regarding the DACA program. The Fifth Circuit did NOT release its ruling regarding the future of DACA. That announcement will come at a future date.
FOR OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Those who have DACA can continue to renew their DACA and work permits and apply for advance parole. However, the Department of Homeland Security is still not processing any new initial DACA applications. This remains unchanged from the lower court's ruling on September 13, 2023.
